Child Immunization in Shanghai?

Postby clay4bc » Sun Jul 19, 2009 11:40 pm

Hello all...
I am moving to Shanghai soon. I have been there before, but this is the first time with a baby. I am wondering if anyone knows the best place(s) to get booster shots for a child...my daughter is 4 months old, and will need boosters at 6 months. Please let me know if you can help!

Bring your schedule with you to Shanghai.

Call 62685072 for an appointment.

Ask for imported vaccines.

Make sure the vaccine is recorded properly in your baby's schedule.

Have used American Sino on Zhenning rd. Guess last vaccination package cost 5000 or sth like that. If you have proper insurance it does not matter really.

Service in different over priced western facilities is pretty much the same.

Parkway health and other hospitals do them. They order them from western countries... little bit expensive but worth the piece of mind! Can take about two weeks to arrive... so you might want to go to a Doctors to make sure they are here for your baby.
