Chongming Island tour (Want to come along?)

Hi Everyone,
The Ctrip English Club is planning a weekend trip in March to Chongming Island. Our tour guide will be Monica, an English-speaking Ctrip staff member, whose hometown is Chongming, We have a group of 10 people from Ctrip so far and have room for up Shanghai expat friends. Will you join us. It will be a fun tour, and give you a chance to get away from the city!

This can be a day-trip or an overnight trip.

Date: Mar 11th (If the weather is foggy or bad, we will delay our journey to a different weekend)
Duration: Two days (If you need to come back after one day that is also ok. Just follow our other organizer.)

Itinerary:
Departure from Shanghai
First day: Forest park
We will walk in the forest park, enjoy the fresh air, nature, horse riding, bike riding and more!
Second day: Nongjiale (costs RMB 35): Be a real “Chongmingese”!

Please contact Sunshine ASAP if you decide to travel with us. After confirming the number of participants, we will confirm the other details such as hotel, transportation and assembly time. Anyone is welcome!

Sounds liek a fun trip. Close by so its a short trip. I assume it will be via a ferry boat?
So what exactly is "NongJiale"? Maybe you can give us a better explaination of what it is?
