Every Sunday - The Shanghai Expat Coffee Brunch Meets! Starting August 14th,,2011 it will meet at TheBazaar - Xintiandi Style - Level b2 - and now will start at 1pm

On August 14th.. we will begin having the Sunday Coffee Brunch at TheBazaar - Level B2 - 3rd Block of Xintiandi ( Xintiandi Style ) On the corner of Madang Lu and Fuxing Lu. Right next to the Line 10 subway stop ( and just a couple blocks from Line 1 HuangPi Lu Stop ) It will officially start 1 pm ( this is when everyone was showing up anyway) . Go to the end of this thread to see the latest comments.


It is a pretty interesting place.. not that crowded and lots of food options.. So take a escalator on the south of XTD Style down to B2.. and you will find the Bazaar. Look for the Shanghai Expat folks in the center court seating ( you can watch old movies on the stage if they have them running ). We will probably start moving the venue every couple of months, so keep an eye on this thread for the most current info.

The coffee meeting is for Expats in the Shanghai Expat community to meet up and compare notes of experiences of living and working in Shanghai as foreigners. Those locals who are NOT looking for a place to practice English, but ARE willing to come ADD-VALUE to the discussions are welcome. The event is NOT a business networking event and is not commercial so no promotion of any outside businesses and such please.

Anyone who understands these parameters and will abide by them are welcome. We DO ask that participants please patronize our sponsoring venue when attending this event. At least get a cup of coffee or something and please, no outside food or drink. Thanks.
