Maybe for a budget monitor it's suitable but for anyone who is doing a bit more maybe should consider something a little more...

Why bother ? Just look at the three solid colors in turn. Dead pixels stand out like a sore thumb.
Btw, dead pixels are not the be-all and end-all of lcd quality measurement.
