Sub-Culture is very excited to present Los Angeles' "Ambassador of Boogie Funk," Dãm-Funk from Stones Throw Records.
Headquartered in the Leimert Park section of L.A., Dãm (pronounced: 'Dame' as in Damon) has spent the last few years cultivating a musical renaissance rooted in the early-'80s styles known as Boogie, Modern Soul and Electro-Funk. After being picked up by Peanut Butter Wolf, Dam has released a string of amazing releases on Stones Throw and his debut album. Twoeachizown, is just around the corner.
