Where can i enjoy an affordable dinner with live music, either (not too hard core) Chinese or straight Western music ?

Where in Shanghai are similar places like Cotton Club 1416 Huaihai zhong lu / Fuxing xi lu ?

Paulaner bruhaus. Not sure if the food and music will fit your requirements.

Paulaner Brauhaus ? Never been there. At least it sounds very German, so they certainly will have Hoegaarden or other real beer there. I'll give it a try.

So yesterday evening i went to Paulaner Brauhaus.

What a nice old manison. The beer is tasty, the food is magnificent, although a bit pricey. 520 RMB / 2 people.
The music would be ok if the performance was not so terribly bad. I think the guys are from Indonesia or so, they hardly can play music or sing something. Awfull.
Anyway, my gf was happy with it and at the end, that's what counts.


Are there other, similar places like that in Shanghai ?
If possible with musicians who can play music ?
