How do I get my DVD collection back to the US? Will I have any problems with customs in the US? Any Duties?

I have about 500 dvd's.

if you declare them, you will have a difficult time at customs as they are illegal... so don't fret over duty... you won't have to pay it since you can't declare the items.

take them out of the covers, put each disk into a sleeve of the dvd books and hope that your bags aren't inspected. make sure you have no duplicates.

i have brought back thousands upon thousands of dvds over the years and never had a problem. be sure to declare your "legal" items and don't put the dvd cases right on top.

I am shipping these ocean frieght with my clothes and other items. Do you still not declare the items?

some shipping companies won't take fakes. eg. when using sante fe, we had to ensure our dvds were real, and sign some sort of form
