In case of serious illness, i.e. chest pain, etc., which emergency room would you use in Shanghai?

Hua Shan Hospital, they are a full hospital with a western clinic.

It depends on your location, but as a general rule, you should go to a university teaching hospital that is closest to you, as time is of the essence.

which hospitals here are university teaching hospitals? heard som not so good things about huashan's ER

well, actually I have heard some not si good things about MOST hospitals in Shanghai but that wouldnt stop mne form going in a real urgent time of need.
6 years of experiences, good, bad ugly... and survived.

I agree, there are emergency situations which is why I asked this question. We had an emergency the week before last...treatment was not the greatest., so we are on our way to Singapore for follow up.
