there are indeed plenty, and I like the one in the Ocean Terminal , over in Tsim Sha Tsui best.

If all else fails there are ( at least ) two at the airport after check in, one before, with a smaller selection but pricewise there's not much difference

Dymocks (brnaches all over town) and there's one in the bottom floor of the IFC (on the way to the train to the plane (can't remember the name) and Charterhouse (Chaterhouse?). The typical rate is 10HK per USD listed price ($8 USD book is $80HKG). The one at the IFC (bigger branch in that warehouse place near Aberdeen) uses $8 HKG per 1USD.

I find the Foreign Language Bookstore/4th fl on Fuzhou Rd/Shanghai has decent selection and uses a better rate - about $8 rmb per $1 USD. They have a pretty big selection.....Chaterhouse also has one branch that I know of in Superbrands Mall (again using the 10rmb per $1USD).

Cure huh? I'm envious.
