Where do I get them ? What do I need to view them ? What's there for free and legal ?

www.memoware.com if you have a PDA to read them. Then you'll also need a reader, like Palmreader, TomeRaider, HandStory, iSilo (not freeware, but I bet u know how to get them)... There u can find from Sun Tzu's Art of War to the CIA 2004 factbook, Kipling's books... They have quite a few in German too.

Otherwise, in P2P networks you'll find lots of ebooks, like all Harry Potter, Ken Follet, Dan Brown... depending on the formet, you will need Acrobat Reader, Word or any other text reader.

You'll also find e-comics in P2P, like the whole collection of Asterix, Lucky Luke, Spirou, Tintin, HellBoy, Manara, Akira... I am now finishing The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. To read these you'll need a program like CDisplay (freeware) and for your comfort a laptop so that you can read the comic as if it was a comic book.

Also you can play with your cellphone. Look for a bookreader for your model, and then convert books into that format. I have Da Vinci's Code in my Nokia 6100 phone at the moment, it comes handy when you have to queue for something for a while and don't have anything to read...

Is the Da Vinci code any good?

I've started reading it but I read several books at a time so I'm still through the first chapters... Anyway so many millions of copies sold can't be wrong...
You have it in different formats in Emule if u want to have a look (but remember: if you like it, always buy the original!!)

Fiddler I start the *real* MBA next week and on tuesday we already have a statistics test (I wish I could find the test questions in Emule!). So this wknd I'm studying, or at least trying... Thnks 4 the offer anyway

The Da Vinci Code is pretty good but there are some factual inaccuracies in it. Unless you have a high level of knowedge about church history you probably will catch them and stop your enjoyment of the story.
It is better to go all in before you are short-stacked.

Just sharing: in case you are having trouble finding CDisplay outside of Geocities (which is blocked), here you have the hyperlink to download it:

Finished downloading Watchmen with Bittorrent. V for Vendetta on the way.

I did a search for Asterix and another for TinTin but all I could find was a 'setup.exe' archived in a zip. Got a bit suspicious and left it alone. Where can I find TinTin comics?

At Emule u can find both collections packed in zip/rar files. Both are less than 700Mb, enough to fit a CD. You might need Cdisplay or the latest Acrobat Reader to read em, I dont remember what's their file type.

loved Da Vinci Code!!! couldn't put it down. Grew up i a religious family and it was interesting to me that there were other views of the Bible. I didn't take everything I read as fact but still very interesting. I now feel the need to search out the truth myself and not just believe everything other people (the church) tells me. Freeing book - makes me realize the search for meaning is in my own hands not in the hands of others. I think maybe that is why the book is so popular - makes you think.

just my thoughts :)
