Hi, I have a colleague at work who has bought many "Dopodo"s before and given them all away. He swears the quality is good and none have failed, but he doesn't know much about the technical details when I ask him. And he doesn't have any on him now, so I can't look and see.

Does anyone have experience with them and can answer my questions?

I'm looking for the bands they operate on (so I know if I can send some to my friends in Canada).

Also what kind of OS does it use? It's not windows mobile (even though it says it on the outside), but can I still download 3rd party applications to run on them? Bluetooth support? (he says he never tried).

hi, szwliew, I know some products as you said. yes, they seems like dopod cellphone with big screen, and can play mp3, film and game. etc. but most of them are not intelligent mobile.
most of them are produced by shenzhen factories.
some people told me they have nice quality and with low price, but I don't know the warranty.
I just believe you get what you pay

I've got a real Dopod 830 and it's been a pretty nice piece of equipment.

The only things that I like that are fake are cheap dvds and expensive boobs.
