no you won't have to pay alot. lots of hospitals have sections for westerners and you can see a doctor who speaks english for around 100 RMB. I have been to the one at Zhongshan hospital. The western clinic is on the north side of the complex. I do not have a phone number, but the first time I went there they pointed me in the right direction. If you go off hours it will cost around 300 rmb.
I always wanted to be a butcher.

There are some hospitals in Shanghai that offer english speaking service, they are Huashan Hospital, Rui jin hosital in the downtowm. As a doctor, i can not tell what you are sufferin now, it may be a cold or pneumonia. what you have to do now is going to a hospital and have a total check.
