Fishing Tackle Shop

Fishing Tackle Shop

Postby KJ » Fri Mar 27, 2009 8:51 am

I used to have a card for a place near Jing An Temple that sold fishing tackle. Does anyone know where it might be exactly, or where maybe you have seen other similar shops?

I'm not looking for equipment designed for catching local carp. Want more of the westernized stuff.

Throw me your sightings. Thanks, KJ

Wuyi lu, off of Yanan lu, heading toward dingxi lu has some tackle shops.
(Or used to, should still be there).

slightly off the topic, but does anyone know where I fish (i.e. cast and reel) from the bank/pier style? a local told me some lakes in Qingpu area but I don't know exactly...

I know of a place, and I also am getting ready to maybe get something along this type of fishing going. Stay tuned.

6 years of self-confinement. I hunger for rock fishing back in Oz.

Nice to have a 5 kg salmon flapping on the rocks, the sacred site.

I so miss my 4 metre surf rod and it's unique harvesting habit in clean ocean waters.

Good 70 metre cast into the waves, not some kitty fishing in a sewer.

I invite my mates , some beers and laughs, BBQ and get down to some serious (dangerous) rock fishing. We all go, eagerly.

Of course we tie each other together, agreed- not a girl thing.... and tie all our gear together.

You get a wash over, someone loses his footing and there's 3 mates to pull him back.

I miss the adrenalin and the mateship of rock fishing.

Z.

Don't bother attacking.

near Sheshan mountain (the little hill with the church on top) you will find some small fish ponds and popular with the locals. Quite a few trout farms behind Pudong airport (near Binhai golf course / Nanhui county).

Decathlon has some fishing gear, not sure its for deep sea fishing or carp.....

Has anyone found places to fish that isn't a paid pond? Maybe some streams?
