I need to get fit and would like to do that by playing football. Anyone know any teams i can join...im not great and probably not even good so would be happy to start off doing 20mins subs job.

Myself being a Brit I presume you mean 22 blokes and one W@*^%r (that's me the Ref) chasing a round object around a field.
If so, either run a search on 'Shanghai International Football League' or turn up on a Saturday at Tianma Country Club from 10-30 onwards where the matches are played.
Either way you can try and find a team.
Standard of players and fitness levels vary amongst the teams, but there seems to be a place for every one who is keen with some teams.
There are 12 expat, and one local Chinese team, who play in the league. All games are competitive but the good thing if you are trying to build up fitness is that they allow 'rolling' subs. In other words, you can go off and then return again later.
