HI everyone,
I was looking for some information on...
1)How are benefits taxed in china
2) Is it better to ask for a high salary or a slightly lower salary with added benefits like housing allowance, Transport schooling etc.
3) do expats have an option of voluntary pension schemes? can they be excleded in case they are already paying for this in their domestic country?

Could anyone plz help me out wid it..

Expats cannot partake in the Chinese pension schemes / insurance benefits. You can buy insurance products on the open market that serve this purpose, though.

Personally, I would ask for a higher salary and pay for my own transportation, residence and educational expenses since these items are tax deductible.
