GMAT weekend classes

Postby vivek123 » Tue Dec 25, 2007 1:18 pm

Hi All,

Has anyone taken GMAT weekend classes in Shanghai? Probably not the best idea to take these classes in Shanghai, but I'm going to be working here at least till Jan'09 and I really want to take the test in '08. A prep course would be great especially one which can refresh my mind on the basic concepts and help me get focussed on taking the test.

So, if anyone has been/or knows of a good GMAT prep course in Shanghai(i don't speak any chinese - instuctors speaking fluent English is a must) - please do let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Vivek

Tough outta luck.
There is no such thing in Shangers. Atleast that was the situation last time i checked (about an year back).
Your best bet would be to take some prep material off the web and then appear for some on-line tests (real time). GMAC themselves arrange for some preperatory tests. Check their site.

Thanks heaps, stillhere!!! I was afraid of this. I got in touch with someone who offered private tutoring but I doubt that would work out for me. Weekend Classes in a small group with a good tutor would have been ideal.

But. there's gotta be something in Shanghai tho', so many people from this city take the GMAT and get into great schools.

PS - Did you find your pickles :) ?

The thing is that even though the actual test is in English the prep material, classes and other stuff are in Chinese here. Might be the reason i meet so many Chinese claiming their written English is better than their spoken (oral  ) English.
Private tutoring would be a good idea provided you can afford it or atleast get enough people to hire a tutor for yourselves (there is an idea here).

And no, i couldn't be bothered to get my lazy *** to go out this weekend so probably this saturday.
