Good Hifi Cable Guy where?

There used to be this great cable guy on Xiangyang lu, he would make custom high end cables for various budgets...

He's no longer there - any ideas where i could find a similar guy?

was quite a few years ago on the corner of Xiangyang and nanchang lu in the days of the xiangyang market

Haven't bought a cable in while....

There's a few guys on level 2/3 of 4FS (4 floors of Shite) on cnr of Xiangyang and Fuxing Lu. Maybe your guy moved there.

Apart from that, the high end AV places seem to be in that building in Xujiahui. The one on the corner near where Best Buy used to be.

I remember him - his little shop (more of a booth with a servery window to the street) was on Xiangyang just opposite the intersection with Nanchang.

He did good work. I've still got cables I bought from him that are working great 7 years on.

The clowns on the ground floor of the 4 Floors 'O' Shite, on the other hand, do appalling work - I've often had to re-do all the connections on their stuff (wired backwards, not soldered properly, all kinds of crapulence) once I get them home and test them.

The XiangYang/Nanyang guy is not, I believe in the 4FOS. At least I haven't seen him there. If you find him (or anyone else who does good work in that sphere) please let me know.

When is the Ultra arriving?

Got myself a tiny one compared to yours and its shaking the house thus i am now looking at a subdude - pissed of a few neighbors last night with Transformers 3 - they got a bigger one called the great gramma from auralex might not be a bad idea for your beast...

Should be here around the 18th.. But all depends on China Customs and how greedy they are :twisted:

Where will u get the subdude??? I have been pissing off my neighbors for years now and this might be a good idea. Perhaps if we get 2 we can get a better price?

What exactly are you looking for? I bought 20m of wire at Xiangyang Lu -- works perfect, cost hardly anything.
