Good Hotel in Bangkok for $30-$40?

Postby GirlatWork » Sat Oct 28, 2006 6:58 pm

Hi

I'm in need of retail therapy. Planning to go to BKK for 4 nights in early November. I won't miss the Chatuchat of course but would also like to go to the main shopping areas in the City.

Can anyone recommand a clean, safe hotel at a convenient location? I will be travelling alone.

Thanks.

Bright City Tower on Sukhumvit Rd, Soi 11 is my regular pad; clean rooms from about 1000 Baht per night.

Ibis Siam Bangkok is good for a budget. Cheaper if you book through www.wotif.com too.

Your best deals are to book online first. The last time we went, we got a great serviced apt room off Sukumvit near the Emporium for US $40 a night. O think it was the President Park and it was off season Got it through http://www.precisionreservations.com/. Hope this helps.
