Got my Stones tickets!

My wife managed to get us two tickets for the Rolling Stones gig on 8th April.

Anyone else going?

The broke (EMMA) says I am one the list and that they will be delivering on Thursday.

broke = broker. but I guess broke wasn't completely wrong since bank account will be a little lighter.

The last time they were booked in China they cancelled, as it was in Beijing in 03 and they were worried about SARS.

I HAVE MY TICKETS! Went to Emma last Monday and there were 4 people in line. Needless to say, they were overwhelmed with the crowd. :-)

is there such thing as a tailgate party here in Shanghai? Me and the gf got our tickets on tuesday.... we also saw the stones in Moncton, New Brunswick last august!!!

Some should organize a PreShow Party...maybe one of the British Pubs..possibly the British Bulldog as they have a good atmosphere and plenty of rock ethos...anyone?

hm. Is it anywhere near the stadium? I don't see it being a huge problem dragging my gf out for a good round of drinks...... maybe post a map or directions? Think it's going to take long to get to the seats? Not sure how bad the security or lineups will be, took us quite a while in Moncton!!!

Opening Act...dont think there will be one. Like concerts in HK...mainly its just the main act and thats that! Good in a way too...

There won't be an opening act or ANY long lines--you don't need to arrive early at all. Seems strange, but true!
EVERYONE is going--don't know anyone who ISN'T going.

folks at EMMA said there would be a warm up act. Some of the ones in the US were pretty big names themselves. Don't care just curious.
