much of the information you are probably wanting from a LP China can easily be found on the internet - sites like lonelyplanet.com, roughguides.com, frommers.com, fodors.com, tripadvisor.com and even ctrips.com are free, easy to use and are great sources of printable material which often is more current than a hard copy travel guide; we have traveled extensively in China and elsewhere with ease using the sites listed as our "guide"

China is an incredible country to travel - enjoy!

Maybe i'm reading too much into it, but they joined on the 27th October, posted once on the 27th October and the classified ad for the lonely planet book is from the 27th October.
