My husband and I have options several housings before the actual properties showing by our agent, but yet have not decided which one to go for. We would like to know some info/ insight - eg, the community, interior, exterior, facilities, pros, and cons, tips, etc. ..

1. Dongjiao State Guest Hotel Garden Villas
2. Windsor Park
3. Green Villas
4. Vizcaya

Dongjiao State Guest Hotel Gardeb Villa was completed in 2005. a well managed proerty with all kinds of facilities. Although it is not within walking distance to international schools in Pudong, it is within 5-10 km to most of them.

Windsor Park is not in Pudong. It is a popular villa property in Changning District, Puxi. It was completed in 2002. It is within 5-10 nimutes drice to 18 international schools in Puxi.

Green Villas is a very popular villa property in Pudong Jingqiao Area. It was completed in 2002. It is within walking distance to Dulwich College and within short driving distance to all major international schools in Pudong. It is within 20 minutes drive from LJZ CBD.

Vizcaya Villa is a spansh style villa property near to Green Villas. Its building quality and layout are not as widely appreciated as the other 3 properties'.

Thank you so much ...As of now were leaning toward Dongjiao State Guest Hotel Garden Villas, but my husband will be there in April to tour around all the Villas..

Just make sure that in Shanghai, especially now, you pay careful attention to completion years before making a selection. Things in this city tend to age fairly quickly, and towards the end of the major real estate boom (around 2004-2006) many developers began cutting corners in building up some apartment complexes - generally by making floors and walls thinner than usual. This can have a major impact on your overall insulation for both heat and noise and depending on where you are at and what time of the year you will be around both of these can be an important factor.
