I've read many good comments about
the Holiday Inn Downtown in Shanghai --
it's not "Downtown" but it's a really
good value compared with the dozens
of Shanghai hotels...

Any comments or suggestions re staying
in Shanghai for about 1 week...?

if it were the holiday inn in HK i wouldnt hesitate to book.
cannot really judge whether the place has the same standard in shanghai.
