What do most expats do with their homes? We are planning to move to Shanghai in June 2010 and the assignment is only for 2 years. We would like have our house when we get back (in Pennsylvania).

Have a friend look after it from time to time. That's what I do. I thought about renting, but too many problems. For example: Will the tenants be out by the time I need it back? What kind of condition will it be in? What do I do with all my stuff?

Have you ever thought about engaging a lawyer to look after your properties when you are out of Shanghai?

we can help you to take care of your property in Shanghai.

Upon our reaserch of the market, a lot of owners find real estate agents to help them look after their property while paying certain fee and another group of owners will entrust a friend to take care of the property and a few people may simply leave it empty. While such practice has its reason to exist, we do see that market is calling for professional service. As lawyers, we find us able to fill that niche.

We help you to rent it out and review related contract and oversee the performance of the lease contract. We may also include litigation as part of our property management service.

As in the west, you may find lawyers more trustworthy in representing your interests either because of our legal expertise or that lawyers are more loyal and less likely to commit frauds, compared to real estate brokers.

Our fee may be a little more than the commission fee the real estate agent may charge you but we add considerable value for you.

Please contact me for more.
