Right. HK is greedy for the money not for the Beverly Hillbillies carrying it.But when in HongKong, mainlanders are to abide by HK rules, not their own. And lets face it, 99% of Chinese mainlanders are wadiren regardless of where they live in China...
I saw an incident in Tokyo once where a mainland Chinese tourist got in the train. She sat in the disabled people's section where mobile phones are forbidden to be turned on. Talking on them are banned throughout the train (a rule badly needed here). She proceeded to talk loudly in Chinese while sitting next to horrified Japanese seniors worried their pacemakers would pop. Some younger adults on the train got up and told the woman to get off the train. To which she proceeded to yell and curse the evil Japanese. Eventually it was her stop and she got off after answer another call loudly yelling "Wei. Wei Wei". I'm sure everyone on the train was cursing the stupid woman under their breath though their faces revealed nothing.
I have civilized Shanghai friends that speak fluent Japanese and of course act exactly like Japanese people while in Japan. These people give China a good face while those like the woman above give China a bad one.
