Horse riding in nature nearby Shanghai

Hello!

We still regularly hold the horseback riding day tour, almost every weekend!

Next dates :

Sunday May 27th 2012
Saturday June 2nd 2012
Sunday June 10th 2012

Program :

(note that the program has slightly changed compared to the previous excursions we proposed)

- Around 1,5 / 2 hours riding on morning
- Back to the ranch on mid-day for a break and Mongolian and Chinese lunch
- Around 1 / 1,5 hours again on the afternoon

All the riding is in nature and far from honking cars and crowds of people!
More nature, more fun!

Included : Transport from/to Shanghai, nature park entry ticket, horsing (coaching and tour leading), interpretor (chinese/english), lunch meal (mongolian & chinese cuisine) and drinks (Tea, coke, beers, etc.)

Price : 449 RMB

The ranch is located in Feng Xian forest park, about 1 hour south from Shanghai city center. This is a natural place, far from crazy honking cars!

We already organized this tour 3 times before, and participants were happy taking part of it. But i know that a feedback coming from me cannot really be trustworthy! :lol:

Me again, to tell you about the next session : Sunday Sep. 18th!

Book soon if you want to participate to this tour, because we will change the program soon. This is in order not to organize everytime the same tour, and propose different excursions for the ones who already came to this one and would like to try something else!

I've been to the park, last year I think or maybe 2 years ago. It was ok but the park itself is quite crowded and the trip to where the horses are is long, take the carts at the front gate. Advanced ride path is suggested as it is on a country road, else you are going around in circles on the inside track. The ocean isn't too far away and the group I was with went there in the afternoon and we got some nice local fruit. The park also has a large recreation area and there are lots of tour buses coming in on weekends but all in all it was an ok experience I have had at this park. I prefer going to nearby islands for weekend long horseback riding events, other then the long boat ride from north Shanghai port its a better event. If you don't have a full weekend to spend this will be a much better bet, just remember to bring tissue or a baseball had as the helmets they make you wear can be questionable.

Very possible, i was a beginner too when i went there the first time! haha.
And many people who came were beginners as well, and they never had any problem, even if a little affraid sometimes. And i'm the only one who fell down hahaha
