I am wondering, if a Chinese man wants to end a relationship with a woman, how does he typically go about it?

First up why is the assumption made that the OP must be a Chinese person? Plenty of Western girls (and guys) are dating Chinese men these days so get with the times Condesa, maybe it was one of them asking? And based on my own experience and those of my friends who've dated Chinese guys they will typically find some excuse, usually to do with family commitments or their jobs to explain why they can't spend much as time with you. They're usually not that good at ending things gracefully but at least I've never heard of any Chinese guy using "I need time to myself" or "I'm not good enough for you" routines that Western guys go for.

Not exactly. The vast majority of Chinese men assume they can have two girlfriends at once. In fact, it's preferred!

Actually, Western women still tend to avoid Chinese men. (They are, however, more likely to date Chinese-American men.)
