How to build trust for online friending or dating？

I think the friends on the internet have strong sense of caution to each other, which blocks people to be real friends, not mentioning dating.

How do people from internet become friends in real life? how to build the trust?

I think there's a distinct difference between the trust issues involved with online dating and the trust issues involved with online friendships. I've also noticed that the issues are quite different between Western and Chinese women.

In short, I think you're trying to compare apples to cakes.
