How to deposit back coins and notes less than 50 RMB?

Postby Ikbal » Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:44 pm

Hi All,
I was wondering if it possible to deposit back into bank account notes that are less than 50 yuan since the cash depost machines don't accept them.
Another question is can we do the same for coins? I remember back at my time in Holland we used to have a machine where u can deposit all your coins and after checking them will be deposit back into the bank account.
Thanks in advance.

you can deposit any kinds of banknotes(5,10,damaged,mutilated etc) and coins into your account at the counter.most bank tellers can speak simple english and would like to help you. the only problem is there may be a 20-50 people waiting queue.

Yeah, the queue is definitely not worth the wait. What about just keeping those with you :)

Take you coins to a local convenience store - I do this regularly when my piggy bank is full - they really do appreciate it as they are usually short of change and they will gladly exchange for notes.
