Hey all you moms who want to work part-time, go for grocery shopping or just have some othr appointment and are worried where to keep your kids or who will take care of them ??

Now your problem is solved. You can just drop in your kids at my place and i will take care of them. Its a new concept which i am starting just like a home daycare/childcare or maybe dropping your kids at the neighbours place.

It will be for 2-3 hrs. And your kids will not be sitting idle they can play, learn, eat and have fun with me while you are away.I stay on hongqiao road near to bhoomi stores. Please let me know if anybody intrested??

God... Never thought of such a long and old thread about indians...I was aware of Philippinos but..

Anyway, I just cannot understand why Indians are so much into Cricket thing...Seems like British really put the stuff deep into indians genes...Will never change and will handover generation to generation...

Why not mix with other communities - Americans, Italians, English, French, Filipinos etc? See this as an opportunity to learn other cultures.

Its simple because India has 28 States & 6 Union Territories, they all speak different language.

India is like Europe does whole of Europe speak the same language???

Need Fuss-Free Ayi in Jing'An for working woman

Postby Yashodhara » Tue Aug 02, 2011 9:39 pm

My Ayi of 3 years who was simply brilliant and cooked everything from Cauliflower Masala to Pesto to grilled prawns has left for her home town in Hunan.

I am mourning this loss - mainly as a lazy woman who needs a semblance of good meals, I truly need to replace her. Yes, I need an Ayi willing to come on some rather rigid terms.
Need her from 8 AM - Noon
20 RMB/hour , not less but can be more till 25 RMB/hour
5 days a week
Must have a brain to pick up recipes all written in Mandarin
Clean home (hardly any work), iron clothes

I am a working woman so there is no one at home and she comes with the keys. So, I can promise a whole lot of peace and extensive travel means she can have most of the month off. I can teach on weekends at the start. I am very kind, like cooking and trying new recipes whcih I always share with my Ayi.

POlease help a self-indulgent , lazy me!

Actually there's a classical music concert tomorrow afternoon 3-6pm in Pudong -- it's free -- today was the last date to RSVP, but call the organiser (Ms Bhuvana Ravi, 137-066-6584) -- I'm pretty sure she'll say yes -- and this is classical, not the Bollywood stuff.
Address: Greenhills Clubhouse, 2/F
418 JinXiu East Rd (near intersection of Bai Hua Rd), Jinqiao, Pudong.

And there's an Indian new year celebration on the 28th at Hotel Rayfont, Zhaojiabang Lu, entry is 120 RMB including food -- write to sethumtp at gmail.com.

Are you from the UK/OZ and into cricket? The Indian Assn is organising a cricket tournament this Sunday (15th). Call Sachin Sehgal at 158-2100-7275 or sachin4575 at gmail.com.
