We just moved to Shanghai in October and are finally ready to buy a car. The VW Touran looks like a good option with the ability to seat up to 7. I've been scouring the web for pricing but haven't found any. Any advice or recommendations on where and how much to purchase for would be greatly appreciated!

very little information on new cars on the internet here, best to get a copy of the Shanghai telephone book and visit the VW dealers personally.

VW's are the biggest selling car in China, so for sales and service that's an advantage.

i suggest you buy the new one if you are not sure about the used one's quality, as maket here is very complex, and some used car has unknow problem..many friends's experence and advice to me.

VM is popular here, if you visite 2-3 4S-shop you will familier with the price, i guess. Some time with a local guide is nessasary for lower price.
