Hey, anybody know where I can find some kale around here? Gonna start juicing and have heard lots of good things about the health benefits of kale.

Most supermarkets. 介兰 should be the characters (jie lan)

Is Jielan Kale? I thought it was just weird Chinese broccoli.

Well, in Shanghai, that's what they call kale in many restaurants including Simply Thai (kale with salty pork) etc. Whether it's technically correct or not, I wouldn't like to say. I've heard some people call "jie lan" Chinese broccoli, yes.

I've never been quite sure what kale was. So if it's jielan that sounds fine to me. I now know what it is!
