I havent seen any of the following, but my 5 yr old kid had gone along with his school - they had taken him there, and he enjoyed both of them

Last week there was a string in shanghai expat abt kid friendly restaurants, and someone had talked abt Buddy bear restaurant in Pudong - Quote :
Another place that sounds interesting, though I haven't been yet is The Buddy Bear Restaurant in Pudong (Times Square, 500 Zhangyang Lu). According to an article on kid-friendly restaurants in City Weekend a few weeks ago, this place, which serves "American" style food, "has the best playground of all, with an actual pirate ship! This whole resstaurant is fun and safe even for the smallest buddies, and everything is entertaining, including the meals shaped like volcanoes with umbrellas on top." Hope it tastes good too!

Depends on where you're living, if you want to stay with Puxi or Pudong. I can maybe give you ideas for Puxi.

hmmm....Montessori school out towards the American school puts on a good one. Arcade/Kiddie PlayArea on 4th Floor of Brilliance West Mall (sorry, forgot name). Moon River-Hongmei hosted a really cool one the other day.
