Heyo, most american football games will be on at 5am Monday Morning Shanghai time. Is there a place to watch these games? Especially 49ers?
With an internet connection would be perfect for phone calls back home.

Actually, before daylight savings, the early NFL game (thus most NFL games) is at 1am SH time (1:00pm EST), while the late NFL game (4:15pm EST) is at 4:15am SH time. Once daylight savings hits, it'll be 2am and 5:15am.

You can get a handful of games live via ESPN (primetime Sun & Mon games only) or SportsPlus via Filipino satellite TV.

As for the 49ers...that's gonna be tough. Being a bad team they're not on Monday night or Sunday night football, and SportsPlus is less likely to broadcast them as well...

I got this thing called a Slingbox.
It lets me watch my tv here in the states from anywhere in the world on my computer. I bet I can bring my laptop to a bar with a projector and watch there....

Would anybody like to watch some football with me? It just isn't right to watch the games by yourself....

I did some research and found out I can watch my beloved Dallas Cowboys(&Cowgirls) via this Slingbox which my best friend in the USA could pick up at Circuitcity or BestBuy for $249 and hook up on his tv back in Texas and I can view the game here in Shanghai via my laptop. I must admit the Giants defensive line with Strahan and Osi Umenyiora did a job on the Cowboys offensive line which decided the game.
