Good luck in your search. My wife and I have been looking for a service to take care of our daughter and found that ususally if the child is under 18 months there are few to little choices available. If you are here for only 3 months then I would assume you have an expat package and can afford one of the few services that can take care of infants. We found they are the same price as in the states, around 1,500 per month USD for infant care, and this is usually for only 6 hours.

Search the site for Ayi or Bao Mu, it will depend on if you want a temporary, part time, or live in. Live-ins will require their own room and ammenities, if they look after the baby they usually will charge extra to cook, clean, and do house work as their main charge and fee is for child care. This is one of the issues we are dealing with now. Our daughter will be 18 months old this summer and we will be able to enroll her into a nursery school so she can live with us instead of her grandparents in Guangzhou, about 800 miles to the south. Search for the Ayi you need and contact the agencies to see if they can fill your needs and expectations.

Where will you live and how many hours/day and days/week will you need her for?
