Truth be told they do very little working out. The dad hectors the son and the son makes braying and squealing noises and complains about everything. For a 13 year old he is a land whale. Grossly obese and squinty-eyed - he exhibits no sign of any personality other than a-hole. The dad after about half an hour of begging and nagging gets him on the treadmill for 20 min. After that they spend about an hour in the change room while dad gives son a complete massage and pat down. The ENTIRE time son has his Gameboy locked in his pudgy little fist and doesn't ever look up from it even while barking and screeching at dad. I'ts enough to make you slit your wrists from despair if it wasn't for the obvious pleasure that Dad takes in spending time and fussing over his son despite all his bitching.

I'm sure it's all fine and well to just assume outright that all the street food vendors are at it (for cheapness or convenience or whatever), but they can't all be at it. What about baozi - there's no cooking oil used to cook them. They're steamed. But I suppose now it's the contents of said baozi that are bad?

I own a PC, not a Mac, a red meat eater and I stay away from CHINESE street restaurants.
By the way, Chinese are also worried about what they eat too

NorthernLights wrote:Why the hell were Matreshka's posts deleted?
They were distinctly on topic...
A restaurant comes on here and retaliates against a "bad review", and it get's deleted? WTH?
I should have saved the bloody lot and sent it to one of the Shanghai magazines... seriously, I'm sure it would have been deemed quite newsworthy over there. What the hell are you guys playing at?

I wonder how long until these posts disappear too...
