My new plan : Shandong + need some advice

Hello,

Finally, I decided to go to Shandong and have a rest in Qingdao, Jinan, Tai'an and Qufu..and visit Nanjing at the end.

Do you know Qingdao ?
Could you please recommend me a good hotel : nice view, very clean ?
I am allergic so am not very comfortable to sleep in hotels as there's always carpet.

I'm checking on the net too but appreciate to get some reviews.

Thanks a lot!

My hometown is QingDao. My husband and I went to QingDao about three weeks ago. I did a bit research of hotels before that. I like to give some advice if you can give to me your expectation of price/night? Moreover, it's much easy to book a hotel online before you go..cause it is the nicest season for a beachtown, everyone wants to go there.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm checking on elong and ctrip..but need to find a good map of the city to check the location.
I'd like to book a double room with nice view : either mountain or sea view for around 600-700RMB per night.

We like to walk around the city without any traveling, so we stayed in Shangri-la. It's a nice 5-star hotel but we booked the cheapest room so we did not get any seaview. Equatorial Qingdao Hotel is just opposite the XiangGang(HK) Road. It's a bit cheaper than Shangri-la. They are surrounded by the most popular tourism spots- the 4th of May Square, Music Square, Qingdao City Council Building and sea. There is a new hotel (ÇൺÈý¶È¿Õ¼ä-°ØÔù«Ô¢¾Æµê) which I would like to try next time. Super seaview room is RMB558/night, it is located near the Sunny Department store and Carrefour Supermarket. It just a block away from Shangri-la. There are also some nice hotels down the suburban if you like to have a quiet holiday.(but in China, you never be able to be alone)

Got some info on some of those places. I used to live in Jinan for 2 years, too. The places to go are Jenny's Cafe and Pyramid bar.

Got some options to book hotels on the Qingdao page, too. It's my side business.
