National Day Holiday Destinations

Postby wentthere » Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:50 am

Hi everyone,

I know that the National Day holiday is coming up. I want to get out of Shanghai and go somewhere but everything seems too expensive and especially too crowded. Any ideas about more remote places to go?

Thanks

Last year for the National Day holiday, a friend took me and a number of others to the Saihan Embankment in Inner Mongolia. It was great. Middle of nowhere, horseback riding, great food. I think he's going again this year too, but he can only take 10 or 15 people. Leave me a message (pm) if you're interested.

get out of the country ASAP during holiday periods; don't get crushed by the wave of 1.3 billion people. Otherwise, buy a week's worth of food and dvd's and ride out the storm.

you can go to some remote place where the traditional tour groups can not reach, then you could enjoy the nature beauty along or just with friends, escape away from busy metropolis sank your body and your soul into the pure tranquilty

 Why not stay at home and relax yourself? It will be crowded at anywhere during National's Day holiday. Unless, I can find some quiet places, then can try. Otherwise, I prefer stay at home.
