You might want to put an ad up at one of the language schools. Sounds like a good deal for a student studing mandarin.
You probably need to have a proper agreement though about exactly what is covered (ie will you provide meals) and exactly what you expect of your guest otherwise may run into some issues.
I am not sure if there is any international homestay programmes in shanghai that you could sign up for?
