Need someone to show us around

Postby uwbill » Thu Aug 04, 2005 3:34 am

hay guys and gals,

me and my friends (2 males and 1 female) are travelling to shanghai on august 16th, and will stay there for roughly 3 days. i've been to shanghai once in 2003 but only stayed for a short while. none of my other friends have been to the city. we would like to have someone to tour us around. we're not so much into the sight seeing, but more interested in the food, and night life. so if someone's free around that time, and interested in showing us some good restaurants, bars, clubs, it would be real nice! guys, gals, whites, browns, blacks, yellow whatever, all welcome! we're going for a good time!!! ideally, a good massage after the long flight would be really really good. any suggestions for a good massage place or bath house?

btw, we're from toronto, canada, eh!

For a good massage, try Dragon Fly at Xinle Lu, it's a relaxing place that is dimly lit and smells of aromatherapy candles and plays soothing music. But you might have to make an appointment for that.

DragonFly: 54039982

Show up at Malone's on Wednesday night (any time after 9pm), there is a mixer than and you can talk to people and they can give you ideas of where to go while you are visiting.
why not take your damn orange juice and use it as an enema.

Thanks for the head up! Any idea on how much it costs for the massage and how far it is from XuJiaHui? Thanks a lot.

Leaving in 4 days, really excited!

A traditional Chinese massage is RMB 120 for 60 minutes and an aromatherapy oil massage is RMB 200 for 60 minutes. It's about a 10 minute cab ride (or less) from Xu Jia Hui. Enjoy!
