Hi all,

need to get down from 181cm, 92kg to 82 in 6 weeks, health and job wise. And this in China.... Any good recommendations. And sorry, need to eat. Doesn't work with Tofu and stuff like that as I have a high pace job.

They are both terrific trainers, I have worked with both. If you are serious about getting back in shape you need serious SWEAT (this guys will help you with this) and you certainly need to eat properly (I also think either trainer can provide advice to you in this area as well).
There are no magic recipes, you will need to work hard.
I don't need to tell you that drinking 10 beers a week is NOT good for your six pack, you already know all of this, right?

So it's important for you to be less healthy than you are now, is that right?

Because if you somehow succeed in losing ten kilograms in six weeks, you sure as hell ain't going to be healthy any more.

Levothyroxine works.

You piss weight off with that stuff. I remember I lost about 3kgs of bodyfat very very quickly (like 2 weeks) it reduces your appetite, but kind of feels like your heart is gonna beat out of your chest.

You could go with good old fashioned amphetamines too. Again, your fat will melt off, but you may become addicted.

Depends how badly you want it, OP...

A guy I know lost 17 kilo's in 3 months and a total of 24 Kg in 5 months. He used a combination of swimming and reducing his caloric intake by eating lean meat with vegetables at each meal.

A piece of meat the size of your palm, not the entire hand, and as thick as your palm. E.g a chicken breast and salad or piece of salmon with salad or vegetables. He did not have rice, pasta, potato with any of the meal and had given up bread.
He went swimming every morning at about 6 am no matter how late to bed. He enjoyed one glass of wine with dinner but gave up beer.

You may try visit Fitness Club or do some "bodybuilding work" in home (Decathlon have all you need).

Special attention to training the abdominal muscles - this will reduce your stomach.

I lost 13kg this year but it took 6 months rather than 6 weeks. Lots of exercise (running, tennis, swimming, gym) and a tightly controlled diet. I cut beer out apart from 1 or 2 at the weekends.

Dysentery is a good way to lose weight quickly, but it does have a few minor side effects.

Other suggestions -
Completely cut soft drinks out of your diet.
Start using the stairs in your building for some exercise - this works beautifully if you live on a high floor. Before you know it you'll be zipping up and down the stairs.
Stop drinking alcohol - lots of weight gets picked up there.
Make sure you have more fruit and vegetables in your diet - this is also easy to accomplish.
Prepare your own lunch so you have a health meal, or order from somewhere that makes healthy food - Kush does a bunch of office meals that are fairly good, albeit slightly expensive. (http://www.kush.sh)
Join a fitness program - the ones above are good.

You'll also need to moderate your goals - 2-3kg a month is doable and reasonable, more than that, and you are stressing your body too much.

There are also many medicinal methods available to reduce appetite - these work, but do stress your heart. If you are overweight, you probably have high blood pressure too, so not so recommended unless you absolutely must.

P90X you can find it on taobao or torrent, 6 days a week, your fat will disappear :)

Cutting alcohol is a good idea, and eating legumes instead of white bread/rice will increase dietary fibre and possibly gut transit time, which may help. But the whole low carb/high protein thing is a complete crock. (Yes, believed by millions, but a crock nevertheless.)

Drinking lots of water will do nothing other than making you pee a lot.

By the way, carrying a bit of extra fat is not harmful for your health as long as you are getting plenty of exercise. Men can safely carry 25% body fat long-term. You will have a paunch but it doesn't matter.

OTOH being too lean is definitely bad for your health.

I lost a load of weight (92 kg to 77 kg) cutting carbs and switching to high protein and legumes, maybe I was just lucky

You probably also cut your calories substantially and went on an exercise program.

OP, jzzzzz has described the general principles of weight loss, as studied over the years by health scientists. More importantly, this will generally see the weight loss maintained over years, but the discipline has to be maintained.The so-called 'fast methods' will see the weight return, and in some cases, additional weight on return to that amount prior to the loss.

Jzzzzz, 13KG loss? You ought to be commended. We don't have the privilege of seeing images of the new, svelte you...?

there was a miracle black soap sold on tv in the 90s. the claim was it could reduce the circumference of any body part you scrub with it by at least an inch in a matter of a few minutes. the down side is the body part will grow back to it's original size after 4 hours. i imagined the consequences if i were still dancing with my boyfriend at midnight and my waist started expanding...

Get ready for kidney stones and/or gallstones. Fast weight loss has a way of doing that to you.

Drink plenty of water - 8 to 10 glasses per day. That will help your body to clear the toxins that create stones, but stones are more likely if you lose weight quickly.

OP, 92kg to 82kg in 6 weeks is a bit dangerous. That is a rather large weight loss with potentially harmful side effects in such a short time.

Moreover, I believe that this is an unreasonable target. If you wish, you could wear a Ghandi style robe and fast, meditate, avoid food and booze. I'm not a doctor, I'm a layman - but personally you are a bit hopeful.

I've stayed at 80 kg, 175 cm in 9 years in China, even with pizza and pleasant chilled chardonnay.

However, I wish you luck in your attempt !

In first month in China I lost 10kg. I ate a little, really a little plus I was forced to walk long distances. Every 3rd day I was running for around 30 mins in the morning. Propably that was far from healthy but at the end of the day I succeded. I feel good and my 身体没问题。I'm still in process of loosing weight, not rapidly anymore though. my height is 194cm. I weighted 106 the day before leaving Europe and atm I'm 93kg. propably the weather here helped me too as it was just to hot. It's not recomendation, those are just facts, in other words proof it's doable.
ps. Healthy is a strong word. Most of stuff we do/eat ain't healthy ... hell ... the air here is totaly oposite of healthy hehe. I just think human body can go through a lot and adapt to new circumstances.

Pu'erh tea is pretty good. I've lost a couple of kg through drinking several cups every morning instead of milk tea.

I am looking for some recommendations as I have now lost nearly 25 kg in just under a year but now have been stuck at the same weight for over a month when ideally I would like to lose 10kg more.
I exercise for 45mins a day, 5 times a week is there anything that would give my metabolism a kick up the posterior so I can keep losing would be great
I don't have attention deficit disor.... Ooooh look at the puppy.
