New low-cost china airlines

Postby stalker01 » Tue Jul 19, 2005 10:23 am

I've read several articles this week on Spring Airlines, a new private low-cost Chinese airlines. Just started this week. The articles claim tickets can only be purchased through their website. But I can't find their website. Does anyone know of it? And does it offer english?

That would be interesting to know.

They are already operating! Though not sure if they fly from Beijing to Shanghai

But if anybody knows how to get to their website, please share!!!

What's Yantai's claim to fame ... ? I've never even heard of it before.

In the north of China, on the sea. Has lots of seafood and some lovely views. I have only gone for work... we have several factories there.

appearantly only the first 13 tickets were 199 RMB , the others paid up to 500 kwai ( which is still better than the original deal of course )

Spring Airlines is a new low-cost carrier that is based here in Shanghai. It is part of the Spring International group, so it has the potential to be a huge airline.

They fly Shanghai-Guilin-Shanghai daily
Shanghai-Mianyang-Shanghai every Tue/Thu/Sat
Shanghai-Yantai-Shanghai every Mon/Wed/FRi/Sun
Shanghai-Nanchang-Shanghai every Wed/Fri/Sun

They use an Airbus A320 (best aircraft in the world) and the web site is www.china-sss.com

Give them a ago!!!
