Nintendo Wii queries

Postby kao » Wed Oct 31, 2007 12:32 pm

1) Just moved to Shanghai, and wondering how easy it is to download games on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.

Playing classic games was a huge selling point for me, and I've got a list of games I want to download.

2) Any recommendation on where I can sell authentic US Wii games? Just moved from Singapore, where there were a number of online forums to buy, sell and trade games. Not sure if such exist in China.

I'd love to buy legit sames on the secondhand market as well.

I'm clearing shelf space and am willing to sell:

Wii Sports - unopened
Wii Play - unopened
Rayman Raving Rabbids - opened but newish
Metal Slug Anthology - new, opened to test

3) Is there anywhere that sells original games, or do I have to order online?

WELCOME.

1. tough to download games, at least in my experience. very slow speeds, most times can't even access the store.

2. you can try this forum to sell games, but given the wii buying population here, i'm not sure there is much of a market for real games.

3. see above; not much market. you can buy online at play-asia.com.

1, I have never accessed the shop or virtual console and still can't.

2, Try the classifieds on here, but all games sold here in China are usually copies but there is always someone that dosen't want to mod there console. You would do well if it was 360 games.

3, Again not many only seen 2 or 3 in some of the better dealers here.

There was a WII thread not so long ago for further info.

Crap. I bought the thing (and specifically avoided modding it) so I could play VC games. You guys are not giving me a whole lot of hope here.

pigsrnon, games are US version.

I would say you are better off getting it modded and buying all of the fake games you can. There is no way to connect at a descent speed and download the vc games. However original games which can be burned to cd can be download at reasonable speeds. btjunkie.org
