I've searched through the forum, very little on ZJJ, how can I go to ZJJ via public transport? By bus/coach/train/cab??? Where to catch those and how much would it cost to travel there from Shanghai downtown..

Hope to get advice real soon, plan to go there next week. Tks alot! :)

By taxi, it may cost you RMB150 if you can bargain with the taxi driver.
Or you can take a bus (Hu Zhu line) at old North Cheng du Rd( lao cheng du bei lu) , near to people square RMB 9

1) Take tourist bus no.4 from the tourist bus centre at Shanghai Stadium, under the no.5 gate IIRC.
2) Take a direct bus (Jingshen company) from the junction of Lao Chengdu Beilu and Dagu Lu.
3) Take a direct bus (Qiangsheng company) from Madang Lu, at the junction with Jinling Lu.

I just went there two months ago with my gf. It's a great place to hike. We took the taxi from the airport. It cost us $150RMB but thats because we didn't negotiate. I'm sure you can get it down to $100RMB. We arrived late due to all the delay and that makes it hard to negotiate.

definetly take the bus. It's under 10rmb, and it's a 50 minute ride. There's no reason to take a cab, the bus is easy. I never take the bus around the city but when it's the difference of 5 kwai or 150-200 and the bus is easy...
I've been there twice.
