September 8, 2011.

Over the past two years, the number of billionaires in China has doubled from 130 in 2009 to 271 in 2011 year.

China is now second only to the United States which boasts about 400 billionaires. (Russia - 101, India - 49.)

Not so. This year, says Shanghai Daily, "Four of the top 10 richest are real estate developers compared with just two a year ago."

And People's Daily says "Real estate tycoons constitute 23.5 percent of the list, making the sector the top wealth source."

in 2007, seven come from real eastate. last year 3 come from real eastate. so the trend is good.

More of the newly rich than in recent years asked to be left out of Forbes Asia's latest China rich list, said Russell Flannery, a senior editor at the magazine who oversaw the compilation of the list, which was released on Thursday.

The reason for not wanting to be on the list appears to be the fact that so many people on previous lists are now in jail for corruption...

Actually I'm on that list.

As far as I'm aware, I'm the only gigolo among the top ten.
Everything belongs to mainland china, everything was invented by mainland china, everything bad in mainland china was caused by laowai and China has 5 million years of culture. -News by KKO
