Well, have had a look at pictures of Daming mountain and it looks just devine. I need a bit of time in the mountains before I hibernate during the long, cold, wet and dark winter they have here. (sigh)

A few questions for you:
What are the temperatures at night?
How is the incline up the mountain, gradual or steep? (i need to think of footwear) Sherpas?
Does the insurance cover life insurance? (there's been a lot of bus accidents in china recently)
Do you really provide bread and ketchup? (rather odd choice of food i think)
Will there be any other western females on the tour? (from your site seems like it is a yet another western guy meets local girl club - don't want to feel like a "gate crasher")

Anyone else up for a weekend away??? Ooooops, I mean in a totally innocent and plutonic way :wink2::

Hi, Adrienne , thanks for the inquiry here is the answer as below

What are the temperatures at night?
-- I am not quite sure, so far the temperature in Lin An is 14 -18 C, and it will be colder at the end of Nov. might be around 10C

How is the incline up the mountain, gradual or steep? (i need to think of footwear) Sherpas?
-- I am not quite sure will figuer out with the guide, but it is not difficult to climb, no need to wear professional climbing shoes but sport shoe is necessary.

Does the insurance cover life insurance? (there's been a lot of bus accidents in china recently)
-- The insurance is especailly for outdoor/travelling insurance from Ping An Insurance Co. which is 100,000rmb for Accidental Injury Insurance both available for chinese and expats.

Do you really provide bread and ketchup? (rather odd choice of food i think)
-- We will bring some western food such as bread, ketchup and Bacon with us since there will be lots of westerns who may not like the chinese food, anything you want us to offer just let me know.

Will there be any other western females on the tour? (from your site seems like it is a yet another western guy meets local girl club - don't want to feel like a "gate crasher")
-- Dont worry about this, we are open for everyone rather than only for western guys and local girls, actually we have got 2 ladies which from France and Philipine interested to this trip
