Please Help

I'm wanting to move to Shanghai in March 05. I live in the UK and have always worked as an estate agent and now need an adventure. Can anyone offer any advice as to what job oppoutunities are availiable to a young man such as me. I can neither speak nor understand Mandarin but I am very enthusiastic, quick to learn and resourceful. My main criteria is that the job should be interesting and allow me to be in contact with as many people as possible. My main skill beyond selling houses is my ability to deal with people whether on a one to one basis or in large groups. Is there a shortage of imposing confident Englishmen in Shanghai?

I'm sure that you see no end of begging letters such as this but any advice/contacts will be very much appreciated.

My email is edgejack@hotmail.com

Thank you in anticipation

If I were you I would try and arrange a job in Shanghai before you come out here. It may be difficult for you to find something straight away when you arrive, unless you are happy to teach English. Maybe you should come out here for a couple of weeks before considering moving here, so you can check it out first. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but there are lots of people here with the same skills as you that can't find any work, so you need some kind of back up plan.
