Hi, thanks for all the interest. Just for your information, we play all variations of poker - seven card stud, hold'em, omaha, hi-low games, etc. Dealer calls the game. I would love to play a game of cards, in whatever form that takes place. Sad to say, I have a weak spot for losing money, so if anyone plays in a poker game around town that needs another chump to drop his cash into the pot, I am your man.

I have a Hold'em night every week. I haven't been able to find and chips, but find that 1 jiao and 5 jiao coins work well

Not sure where to post this but has anyone tried on-line gambling(poker in particular) from China. I know gambling is illegal there and I'm sad that I won't be able to spend the odd night out at the casino like I do here in Canada. But I was hoping I might be able to get my fix on on-line poker sites.

Otherwise, I just have to get an apartment big enough to invite you all over for poker night. But if it's illegal to play for money we might have to play strip poker

no, but we can use mahjong chips instead. hope we can get a regular crew going, no serious money, more of a social event/meeting new ppl than anything else, at least that's what I'm hoping for.

I'm kinda interested, where is the game held(a general area or in terms of subway stops). how moderate is "moderate"? a ball park #, for example how much is "buy-in" every time?

Looking for a couple more people to play some poker. Right now we have about 4 Americans that play Texas Hold em'. We are open to other games and a more international table. Stakes will be in the range of 100-200rmb over the course of a night. Anybody thats interested in playing just let me know.

IgotAquestion thanks for the invite, I have been missing poker nights. Are the players strictly hold??em players or are there going to be other games like; follow the queen, jacks are better, seven card, five card, high-low, etc. Just let me know when and where and I will be there with money to lose.

im no pro but i know the rules. do u bet a single sum like the pros or per card? lessens the hurt for us jokers.
