I really need your information regarding Police Certificate (no criminal record) for my Canadian PR application. I heard it is not as simple as what CIC mention on their website.
I was a student in Shanghai for about 2 years (2005-2007). I lived in campus dorm most of the time. I read some threads from other websites that I also need to obtain apartment rent paper (or something like that) in order to get my PC. Do I really need that? I'm in Vancouver now and would like to ask my friend to help me to do this. Do I need to go to notary as well?
How much does it cost to get my PC? How long does it take?
ps. I went to East China Normal Uni (Zhongshan bei lu). Should I go to the nearest police office or any police office should be fine?
