I've just recently arrived in Shanghai and am looking for maternity clothes. Any suggestions besides the ones on Changle? I would really prefer to have something more fashionable and stylish...

And know where I can get that belt for extension to pants? belly belt?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Welcome to Shanghai. May i suggest a return ticket back to whence you came? The words stylish, maternity and China are never to be uttered in the same sentence. Unless prison apron chic is your bag. My other half recently went back to civilisation and i would not let him back in the country until he purchased proper maternity clothes for me. There's been quite a few posts on this in the past - you can search to see - but the ony remotely stylish thing i've seen (thanks Bella Bella) is http://www.berrybelly.com/about_en.htm I'm gonna try ordering but i doubt they'll fit - sizing is a real problem if you're bigger than U.S 6.

Funny you mentioned the fabric market. I was there and it made me so depressed to subject myself in such crazy environment during my pregnancy... I was outta there in five minutes...sorry for sounding like a spoiled brat. THANK YOU!!!

I checked out the price on berrybelly.com and their buttoms are double the price as the maternity stores on Changle Rd. I bought the same type of denim buttom and it costs less than 200RMB (the ones I bought are exports to Japan and very nicely made).

I went to berrybelly's home store, and I must say the service was impeccable. The owner also gave me a discount in the end...so it wasn't bad at all compared to US prices. And I found some summer tanks that were just so cute!!! Well worth the extra dollars as I really couldn't find anything I liked on Changle, so I must congratulate you on a job well done!
