Real Estate Buyer Brokers?

Postby giacomodolce » Tue Sep 14, 2004 1:39 am

Does anyone know of any real estate buyer brokers in Shanghai? By this I mean a real estate broker who is working for the buyer and not the seller.

Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Ur....I think all real estate brokers do that. In other words, they play the middleman. I personally like Centaline Real Estate.

Hi qiacomodolce,
I came to Shanghai recently, two weeks ago, and will stay just for 4,5 Month's but due to some luck and a Friend I meet over here I found an agency where the Agent is a really nice guy. He hepls me still a lot after the deal is done. I rented an appartment by his agency and had some startup Problems like how to use my washing machine etc. and so he took his time to come over and explain it to me, because my landlord just speaks Chinese, he even took care about the application for my Broadband Internet Connection. For all these things there was no additional money in for him. So I think if you are interested I can post you his Phone Number and you can talk about the remaining issues with him directly.

I work as a mortgage broker here in Shanghai, representing the purchaser of property and not the vendor. Real-estate agents are the middlemen, but they are usually considered the vendors agent. Further, because they receive commission through sales, they are not really considered neutral. If your interested in more information, just post a reply.
